Talent Support through JAE life-skills workshops

As of the summer term 2010, All secondary schools in the SSP will provide JAE Life-skills workshops.

The JAE Life-skills Workshops are designed for KS3/4 students performing at a county level or beyond. They focus on six aspects of performance lifestyle management: performance improvement, goal setting, time management, team YOU, communication and planning. The aim is to empower young talented performers with the skills needed to balance the conflicting challenges of their sport, studies and life.

There is also a Performance Parent Workshop designed to give parents/carers an opportunity to ask questions, learn from case studies and be part of team YOU, and to learn how to help pupils manage their time and resources more effectively. For more information download the YST Performance Parent document.

Schools can access more information on JAE training by downloading 'JAE training – FAQ and guidance' from the registered users area - to access please log in to your account.
