Following our year 3/4 & 5/6 cross country events, the top 2 teams from each category year group were invited to represent our partnership at the County Cross Country Finals on Wednesday 3rd March 2010. This event was hosted by the Southend West partnership at Southend Rugby Club and involved about 1,036 young athletes from schools across the county.

The schools representing our partnership were as follows:

Birch - 4th place year 6 girls

Friars Grove Juniors - 15th place year 4 girls

Hamilton - 10th place year 3 boys, 10th place year 3 girls, 3rd place year 5 girls, 17th place year 6 boys, 15th place year 6 girls

Kelvedon St Mary - 5th place year 4 boys

Langenhoe - 21st place year 3 boys, 1st place year 3 girls & 1st place individual winner

Prettygate Juniors - 4th place year 4 boys

Stanway - 11th place year 5 boys, 18th place year 6 boys

St Teresas - 8th place year 5 boys & 1st place individual winner, 7th place year 5 girls
