HEALTHY SCHOOLS AWARD - ESSEX

The Essex and Southend Healthy Schools Award encourages schools to continually strengthen their capacity as a healthy setting for living, learning and working. A healthy school supports the physical and emotional health of the whole school community and creates an environment that is conducive to learning. In a healthy school the curriculum promotes physical and emotional health by providing accessible and relevant information and equipping pupils with the skills and attitudes to make informed decisions about their health.
